CVS 6/21

I am not going to need to buy mascara or eye liner for at least six months, maybe a YEAR! I didn't think the CVS ad this week was that great, but I did really good! I got $171.33 worth of products (or $96.33 if you don't count the glucose monitor) for $2.51 on a CVS giftcard which was FREE to begin with!!! Here is what I did:

Transaction #1
This was all I was planning on doing, but then I got a $10/$50 coupon and was determined to find a way to spend it to get $50 free stuff! So that's what transaction #2 is.

Deal: Buy 4 SoyJoy Bars at $1 each, Get $4 ECBs (Limit 5)
I bought 8 for $8
-B1G1 coupon from the 5/31 SmartSource insert (If I had more, I would have made even MORE money! I was only buying 1 paper for a while.)
=7 for $8 and got $8 ECB back. So, I made $1 after coupons and ECBs!

Deal: Buy 1 Thermacare Neck or Arm Wrap (1 count) at $2.49, Get $2.49 ECBs (Limit 2)
- $1/1 coupon from the 3/29 or 4/19 RedPlum insert
=$1.49, and I got $2.49 ECB back, so I made $1 after coupons and ECBs!

Deal: ALL Revlon Eye or Lip products Buy One Get One (B1G1) free
I bought 2 mascaras for $6.99 each
-$1 Revlon Color Cosmetic product 5/17 SmartSource insert (I only had one, but it would have been even cheaper if I had another one!)
-$3 CRT Revlon Color Cosmetic product (I got this on a receipt earlier in the week)
=$2.99 for 2 Revlon mascaras after coupons

Deal: Buy any Rimmel mascara, get Rimmel eye make up remover (4.2oz) FREE
=$7.29 for the mascara + FREE make up remover
(I had $16.97 ECB that were going to expire this week, so I figured I'd bulk up on makeup, and I needed eye make up remover)

Subtotal before coupons = $24.77
Subtotal after coupons = $18.77
I paid $16.97 in ECB, so my total was then $1.80.
I paid $1.80 on a giftcard that I had gotten for free a few months ago.
$39.97 worth of products for $1.80!

Transaction #2:
I had to come up with $50 before tax to use the $10/$50

Deal: Buy 4 SoyJoy Bars at $1 each, Get $4 ECBs (Limit 5)
I bought 12 for $12
-$2 off of 10 coupon from the 5/31 SmartSource insert (If I had more, I would have made even MORE money!)
=12 for $10 and got $12 ECB back. So, I made $2 after coupons and ECBs!

Deal: Buy 1 Mitchum Deodorant at $2.99, Get $1 ECBs (Limit 1)
-$0.75/1 coupon from the 6/21 SmartSource insert
=$2.24, and I got $1 ECB back, so it was $1.24 after coupon and ECBs

Deal: Buy 1 Tylenol (20-24 ct.) at $4.99, Get $2 ECBs (Limit 3)
-$2/1 from the 5/17 RedPlum insert
=$2.99 and I got $2 ECB back, so it was $0.99 after coupons and ECBs

Deal: SoBe LifeWater - B1G1 Free
I got 4 and used 2 B1G1 coupons - IE or Firefox
=4 SoBe drinks for FREE! after 2 coupons

Deal: FreeStyle Glucose Monitor - $9.99
= $9.99/1 coupon from the 5/17 SmartSource insert
=FREE after coupon

Deal: Buy L'Oreal Extra Volume Mascara for $7.99, get $2 ECB (Limit 1)
-$1 LOreal Mascara Eye Shadow or Eyeliner from the 6/14/09 SmartSource insert
=$6.99 and I got $2 ECB, so it was $4.99 after coupons and ECBs!

Subtotal before coupons: $51.12
Subtotal after coupons: $21.20
I paid $19.49 in ECB, so my total was then $0.71.
I paid $0.71 on a giftcard that I had gotten for free a few months ago.
$131.36 worth of products for $0.71! (Ok, the glucose monitor was $75 to begin with, so not counting that - $56.36 worth of products for $0.71.)

I still have $19.49 in ECBs (What I got for this transaction)!
